Medicaid Waivers
Medicaid Waivers, sometimes called Home and Community Based Services, allow Medicaid to fund support and services for aging adults or adults with disabilities in their family homes or communities instead of institutions. Medicaid Waivers allow an individual to use the traditional Medicaid State Health Plan along with the additional services available through the Medicaid Waiver program.
